ARCHIVAL  PIGMENT  PRINTS ON ARCHIVAL  CANVAS   known also as giclees.

For the process the image most be captured from the original painting with a 4 X 5 digital back camera. It requires a perfect balance in the blending on the seven basic pigments. Color adjustments are made until the image is approved by the artist.

I have chosen to print small editions, signed and numbered. Sometimes the image of the whole painting , never the same as the original,and details, both counting in the numbered  edition plus artist´s proofs (A/P). Sometimes I paint over with oils. The smaller the edition, the higher the value of the print.

Most prints available ONLY  from SOME recent work, as far as 2004, not from all work whatsoever.

Production is usually ordered by request. They can also be printed on paper.

Prints are printed in the United States.

Para éste proceso es necesario capturar la imagen de la pintura original con una cámara 4 X 5 respaldada digitalmente . El proceso requiere un balance perfecto en la formulación de los 7 pigmentos básicos. Los ajustes son hechos hasta ser aprobados por el artista.

Las ediciones son limitadas y firmadas. Selecciono imprimir detalles de una obra y si la impresión es de la imagen completa, no será del mismo tamaño al original, las dos maneras cuentan como un número en la edición,más algunas pruebas de artista (P/A). En algunos casos las intervengo con óleo. Entre más corta la edición el valor del print es más alto.

Los grabados o PRINTS son disponibles solo de mi obra reciente ,más o menos del 2004 en adelante, más NO de toda mi obra. También se pueden imprimir sobre papel muy fino.

Los grabados son realizados en dos Talleres especializados en Estados Unidos. No hay un tiraje total,  se realizan por pedido individual.
